Ruston freelance - Mk3
The D25T-Mk3 or Rusty this was our design departments drawing designation number for a modified cab with access from both sides with rear seating, and a heavy duty chassis a freelance loco this is not based on any particular Ruston, only the basic shape was used, the freelance loco designed as a 7/8ths scale loco with the indented design been a for use on narrow gage lines and hauling quarry skips.
The battery is located under the drivers seat allowing for more room under the engine hood for sound cards and remotes with the speaker for sound positioned at the radiator front grill.
